Introduction

The PlayBook is BlackBerry's entry into the tablet field, designed as a competitor to the Apple iPad 2 and the Motorola Xoom with its own proprietary operating system and application store. While it does have a few bright spots (literally and figuratively), it does fall short in some areas that are more annoyances than deal breakers. Still, if you're looking for a tablet with the best selection of apps or the ability to connect to a cell network, you may want to look elsewhere.
